- Some of the most recognized dives spots on the islands are found off Maui such as at Molokini and Lanai.
- Stand-up paddle boarding is a rising star among Maui water sports and it is a rare day not to see many paddlers off the coast of Maui's south shore beaches.
- Maui offers the water sport of parasailing in two different locations on the island, both Lahaina and Kaanapali.
- The entire coastlines of both west and south Maui are the playground for kayaks.
- Jet Ski riding is perhaps one of the most thrilling of the water sports offered on Maui
